militarism militarism militarism and more militarism

Now there are reports that "contractors" (i.e. mercenaries who are better paid than soldiers who volunteered) and CIA agents, and "special forces" (i.e., assassins who carry out non-judicial killings) are operating in Libya.

Does the USA really need another war?

(Humanitarian intervention? Sorry, that does not compute. )

Does anyone remember that the Vietnam War (with how many million dead Vietnamese,
Cambodians, and Laotians?) started with "military advisers"?

Today on Al jazeera English I heard a neo-conservative-- who NB was not advertised as
such--- explaining that war might be inevitable if "we" wanted to achieve the aim
of getting rid of Gadaffi... (or did I mis-remember, did he not use the phony inclusive "we"?)

The man was plainly advocating an all-out war, albeit in a less than honest manner...

They say that Al Jazeera Arabic is different than Al Jazeera English. I certainly hope so!

Is this Obama's plan to solve the problem of unemployment? More wars? The solution is decent employment--jobs with decent pay, health care, and retirement, not jobs that produce citizens who have witnessed or engaged in torture, who are mentally damaged and prone to violence, and who suffer from mysterious physical ailments on account of the secret weapons used......
