invisible taxes

Ah, the futility! and utter pointlessness of the North American automobile!
NO, not a love story, a case of entrapment, delusion, diversion, and exploitation....

In oh so many ways working Americans (citzens of the USA) are screwed!

Yes, and if you are a hedge fund manager, who pays a very low rate of taxes.... that fee (if you don't manage to avoid it via the concept of business expenses).. is a much less significant chunk of your income than it is for a citizen who actually works.
