but
since returning to the usa
i am afraid to say what i think
and i have had unpleasant experiences when i did so
of course i try to say what i think in this blog
but that doesnt really count
its not like
face-to-face contact
and the process of self-censorship is pernicious
so i really dont get people who talk about free speech in the usa
they must enjoy some kind of security that i have never ever in my entire life known
