I have noticed that my American friends seem to spend a lot of time talking
about their cars...
about accidents...
about insurance,
and all of that.
I say that they "spend" their time.
I really think they waste it, though, perhaps this would be considered rude to say in public.
I've been there. You can live without a car quite comfortably, thank you. In fact, I would prefer
to live without a car--but in El Paso Texas, you are not free to make that choice....
I wonder how many hours a week people actually devote to their cars......someone should count....
...oh...so many better things to do...!
