spelling decline

I've noticed a few errors in old posts---e.g., 'their' instead or 'there';  but I've not been able to fix all of them.  When and if I notice such infelicities (sometimes the result of late night typing habits, other times the result of using an 'ipad') I shall fix them.....  In the meantime, I can only beg the reader's forbearance.
