the music
stirring, thrilling,
as if violence were romantic
and we learn about the evil Stalin
who apparently was a fool to believe that World War One
was an imperial war.....
and somehow the suggestion is made that dying in an imperialist war
is praiseworthy-----patriotic---But, it is not to be questioned by this
narrator that marching into battle (and following orders) proves that a man is a real man....
But both world wars were wars between empires and for the sake of imperial ambitions.
So, what good, really is this so-called "documentary"? Probably best watched with the sound off......
