Talk of austerity in Greece (and elsewhere) is pure class warfare---an attack by the rich on the rest of us....

Consider, for example, the following line from an article in the Guardian about the

so-called "bailout' in Greece:

The Greek finance minister, Evangelos Venizelos, announced details of the austerity measures, which include lowering the minimum threshold for income tax to €8,000 a year from its current level of €12,000.
