The therapist's assistant is here. Good for my father: He can go on and on and on, and say what I've heard him say 1,000 times---to a new audience.

Bad for me. I cannot focus or work or even concentrate to pack my bags so I can leave this tiny, crowded, dusty house.....

But I just wanted to mention another way in which the USA has gotten things wrong.

Medicine does not exist in order that the already wealthy can add to their wealth.

Medicine exists in order to make lives better----to decrease human suffering. But a Martian who visited Planet Earth and wound up in the USA might not realize that fact.

This blog definitely may contain controversial opinions,--i.e. opinions not universally shared-- and it may even express emotions! I would say it contains "emotional elements" mimicking the idiot language of movie producers, but frankly I cannot see the point of the noun, unless it be to emphasize the pejorative sounding "emotional"...(Pejorative if you know nothing about the emotions!)

But there is no nudity whatsoever except for allusions to naked greed and naked ignorance.

Neither is there violence here, as that term is commonly understood, however, the structural violence of common institutional and social arrangements is often under discussion.

A Note About Style

Sometimes when I blog I depart from the customary conventions of written English. For example, there are times when I get rid of capital letters. I hope that no one is overly disturbed by this. it allows me to say things in a slightly different way....Probably I do it because once upon a time when I actually had friends and some sort of social contacts, I often sent them text messages sans caps; probably the cap-less style reminds me of those happier times.....times before my de facto (but surely not totally actual) solitary confinement...

The TONE of this blog? No, I don't engage in the rhetorical fantasy of saying things "objectively", but I actually do attempt to say what's true....
