The other day I had a long conversation with a bus driver.
It began because he suspected me of having an alcoholic beverage in my coffee cup.
This is the sort of stupidity that characterizes americans--reflexive and unthinking.
They think it is "normal", and in a way here it is.
But it is sheer stupidity.
It is a version of cruelty, making life harder for those who are least able to defend themselves.
I cannot finish or elaborate upon these thoughts here. I will in future add links to New Jersey
newspapers where we witness the same phenomenon....
